Magíster en Administración de RR.HH, Diplomado en Gestión del Riesgo y Seguridad; Diplomado en Gestión de Operaciones del Sistema Financiero. En la actualidad es Gerente de Seguridad y Prevención de Riesgos del Banco de Chile, docente universitario y relator internacional. Es especialista en la Administración Operacional de la Seguridad Bancaria y Manejo de Crisis; en esa calidad se desempeña además, como Director de Crisis en la misma institución Financiera. En el ámbito de la industria bancaria, es el Presidente del Comité de Seguridad de la Asociación de Bancos e Instituciones Financieras de Chile y Presidente del Centro Latinoamericano de Expertos en Seguridad (CELAES-FELABAN), de la Federación Latinoamericana de Bancos.
Mr. Nissim Heffes A. - Mexico & Latin America CEO, Honest Work - Mexico
With a background in Marketing Technology & Management from the Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT), Nissim Heffes developed the 'The Theory of the Analysis of Honesty' under the guidance of Prof. Gershon Miles knowledge which eventually formed the focus of "Honest Work" in 2007. This time has been invested in developing an organization with the knowledge and ability to clearly define the rather vague and difficult issue of corruption, offering clear resolution strategies to well known companies and government institutions in Mexico on this topic.
Magister Rodrigo F. Cigarruista T. - Protection and Security Manager of the Panama Canal Authority
Degrees in Law and Political Science from the National University of Panama. He graduated from the College of Panama, has done off site technical studies in Police Science at the Police Sciences School of Scranton, Pennsylvania. He obtained a postgraduate degree in Management and a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis on Strategic Management at the American University of Panama, has an MBA in Finance. He studied at the Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies (CHDS), National Defense University of the United States. He has attended safety seminars at the World Institute for Security Enhancement, school of Public Safety and the School for Maritime Security at Texas A & M University, as well as the School of Public Administration of George Washington University. He is currently the Section Manager of the Protection and Surveillance Division, Emergency Response and Protection department at the Panama Canal Authority, where he has worked for over 23 years. He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama and a member of ASIS, Chapter 235, of Panama.

Dr. Ralph Otero, CPP, CFE, CHS-III - International Security Expert
Professor Otero has worked as a practitioner, consultant, private investigator, educator, keynote speaker and educator in Security and Safety Management, Loss Prevention and Research in the Caribbean and Latin America. He has been faculty member at the University of Puerto Rico, Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and the Ana G. Mendez University System - SUAGM. Today, with 30 years of experience, he has served in managerial positions as the Security Director of the Ports Authority of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and Corporate Manager of Investigations and Internal Security for AT&T Caribbean and Latin America from their offices in Miami, Atlanta, Mexico City and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Professor Otero served as a police officer in the state of Texas as well as in the United States Army from which he was honorably discharged.
Jaime A. Moncada, PE, SFPE - International Consultant - United States
He is a recognized expert in fire protection engineering, with a particular emphasis on the issues of oil, industrial, institutional and commercial projects in Latin America. Degreed in fire protection engineering and holder of a Masters Degree in Technology Management, both are from the University of Maryland. He obtained a license to practice as a fire protection engineer (PE) in the U.S. Member of the Board of Directors of SFPE, founder of the Latin American Section of the NFPA and co-editor of the Fifth Spanish edition of the NFPA Handbook of Fire Protection. Mr. Moncada is also the Director of Professional Development Programs for the NFPA in Latin America.
Mr. Germain Alexis H. Cortes - International Security Consultant - Colombia
Mr. Cortes is an electrical engineer, with a graduate degree in Management Systems Engineering. Consultant to the National Institute of Standards and Technology - NIST on electronic security and building automation topics. CCP from ASIS and CISSP from ISC2. He has over 20 years of experience in the electronic security industry. He is a renowned lecturer and university teacher on high technology issues in the Latin American arena. He has been a director of several companies and currently is a managing partner of Insetrón Ltda, an engineering and technical consulting firm focused on projects related to electronic network security, communication and automation. He has successfully participated in over 150 projects in Latin America.
Guillermo Macias Avitia - Director General de Seguridad de Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de .C.V, México
Tiene amplia experiencia en seguridad corporativa en México y Latinoamérica trabajando como Jefe de Seguridad por más de 12 años con empresas multinacionales como SONY, NORTEL NETWORKS y GENERAL ELECTRIC. Ha realizado diferentes estudios en materia de seguridad en el continente y actualmente se desempeña como Director General de Seguridad de Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de .C.V. (fabricante de la cerveza Corona, entre otras).
Es egresado de la Escuela Militar de Aviación y de la Escuela Superior de Guerra, ambas dependientes de la Universidad del Ejército y Fuerza Aérea Mexicana, como Piloto Aviador Militar y como Licenciado en Administración Militar. Realizó estudios en la Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos (USAF) como Piloto de Combate de aviones F-5 y de Oficial de Inteligencia Aérea. Tuvo una carrera militar de más de 19 años.
Ms. Lucy Rivero Ruiz - President, Inalarm - Mexico
After developing her career as an Executive Bilingual Secretary, and working for several important companies in Mexico and the United States, Rivero began her sales career, working from 1985 to 1987 at Intersec Security Distributors in Dallas, Texas. In 1988, she returned to Mexico City, her hometown, to found Inalarm Corp., a company that from 1988 to 2010 has maintained its leadership position in security equipment distribution, as the largest distributor in Latin America. Inalarm has 11 branches in Mexico, two in the USA and one in Guatemala. Ms. Rivero received her MBA at the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Direction, and continues to prepare to meet the challenges that the global environment presents. Ms. Rivero is a founding partner of Expo Seguridad Mexico and an active participant in the Steering Committee of ALAS Mexico.

Ing. Paulo Tavares - Director Regional de Seguridad para Anixter Caribe y Latinoamérica
Con formación en Sistemas de Información y MBA Ejecutivo en Marketing, Paulo Tavares empezó su carrera en el área de Comunicación de Datos, mas tarde continuó en el mercado de Redes e Infraestructura. Con más de 13 años de experiencia en Marketing de Productos, 8 de ellos en Anixter, fue el responsable por desarrollar el negocio de seguridad electrónica en Anixter Brasil, en el año 2006. Desde 2008 ocupa la posición de Director de Marketing para América Latina y Caribe, y es responsable de las estrategias del negocio de seguridad de la región, con una tendencia de crecimiento en el negocio de 20% anual, convirtiéndose en unidad de negocio estratégica para Anixter. Paulo tiene la certificación de RCDD, reconocida por BICSI y participa de grupos de estudios académicos sobre Marketing B2B y Estrategia de Canales de Distribución.
